My dad hit me, I hit him back?

What is wrong with some of the people who answered this question. There is never an excuse to hit your child. Ignore some of the morons who answered this question. What your father is doing is criminal and im glad you hit him. Sounds like he had it coming. If i were you i would leave that house and go to a relatives. Its not safe to live with a man as violent and thuggish as to hit his own daughter. I hope everything works out for you :)
