My friends finally asked me out after a year but summer?

Yeah that sucks! It's too bad you won't be able to see each other over the summer, but remember there are plenty other guys out there that you could be meeting, instead of hanging out with someone who, sounds to me, a little questionable - grounded all the time?? Sounds like someone who you wouldn't want to be with anyway. If you still like this guy when school starts again in the fall, and you're not yet attached with another studly, smart, talented guy that you met over the summer, then you can always resume seeing this guy. You have so much life ahead of you, and so many other guys to meet and learn from - don't dwell on just one, have fun! (But be safe too!) ;)
