Will the 49ers make the playoffs this year?

The 49ers almost had a .500 season. Frank Gore had a great season last year, Alex Smith is showing signs of maturity and they just signed another pro bowl CB in Nate Clements, along with other various additions. Did they do enough to be contenders for the NFC Championship and possibly Super Bowl Champions?
