How do people like heirs from an estate deal with their status?

Rich people almost invariably hang out together. They're bound to know one another via similar business interests and/or they live in the same neighborhoods. Ditto rich kids who end up at the same schools. It's unlikely rich people have many opportunities to go slumming or much of an interest to do so except in the movies. Rich people like their wealth and usually guard it jealously.
