I have a recipe that calls for shredded provolone, but couldn't find it. Any suggestions for an alternative?

I was thinking Monterey Jack, because it is another "mild" cheese....but I'm not sure it will be that great on the particular pizza I am making. It will be mixed w/ Parmaggiano Reggiano cheese as well. I also have smoked mozzarella available, as well as smoked cheddar. Thank you in advance for the help.
