My period is due today but my cervix position...?

My period is due today. However its not arrived. I am like clockwork and if there is any changes to my cycle, Im always early, never late. My partner and I have had but we used condoms every time. Lately I have been more tired than usual. My are slightly heavy and tingly/sore. Today I have been slightly nauseous and a little dizzy. I keep feeling like AF is here but when I check its just watery discharge. The position of my cervix at the moment is low, hard and wet. However I cant really tell if its opened or closed because Ive already had a baby. Im gonna leave it a few days before I take a test, but what are your opinions? I keep reading different things about cervical changes, so Im not sure what to believe!
