NEED HELP!!!! friend molested by her father.?

My friend who is almost 18 years old has recently told the police about her dad molesting her for almost 8 years... she was to scared to tell because of something he might do. she was adopted and scared he would send her back to her home or something but i have finaly cinvinced her to tell the truth and go to the police. well this whole time her mom is against her telling her that she is being selfish, that she should have thought about the family not herself. just today her mom told her she had two options. 1) to lie to the attorney saying she liked it and to drop the charges, or 2) that her mom was going to force her to leave so she couldnt show up for court and he would get off free. to me i wish her mother be severly hurt because this girl is very very important to me, so if she lies they will still press charges because she was under the age of 18 when it all happened. but what if she moves away and can't show to court?
